Back to Basics Workshop for Community Practitioner Formulary Nurse Prescribers (CPFNP)
There are over 28,000 trained CPFNPs on the NMC register but only around 11,000 are using their prescribing (NPC 2003) which means at least 17,000 are not using their qualification. Reasons for this are diverse however loss of confidence through limited or no access to CPD in relation to prescribing is certainly a main cause.
This friendly and relaxed 1/2 day workshop for up to 30 CPFNPs, will provide a much needed update and aims to increase the confidence of those attending to ensure they are using their prescribing skills to maximise patient care. It can be booked locally, our trainer comes to your Trust which is not only convenient but cost effective in terms of staff travel expenses. Simply complete the application form and return, in order to secure your booking.
This workshop can be adapted to suit independent and supplementary prescribers within acute and mental health trusts.
